An Awakening

"The mind shatters and one understands the truth"

I've been deeply inspired by the work of Peter Mohrbacher over the years and this piece is probably the best example of that. I sort of letting this one happen as I worked.

Some of the shapes are pulled from outputs of AI tools, as they often create interesting patterns. It feels like AI tools are nearly able to make things that feel real in a way. I see their outputs much in the same way we often see shapes in the clouds.

They get close to something, so I take them and make them into new things. try to bring out the forms. It's a delightful process.
